Alessandro Ceronetti and Strawberry Racing will compete in the IAME I-Games 2020 at the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimao (Portugual).
“I am so excited to race again, after a long year made of ups and downs due to COVID-19 restrictions. Opened in 2010, Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve (KIA) in Portugual is one of Europe’s largest kart tracks. The track is 1,531m long and 8m wide and the main straight is approximately 160m long and 10m wide. This race is also important to get back into the ‘race mode’ and pace following the decision to join Strawberry. This race will also help to overcome the frustration from the disappointing results at the IAME X30 Euro where I only ended up 9th. It will be a good challenge for me due to the fact I have never been on this circuit. I cannot wait to start testing there in a couple of days”.
Weather forecast looks changeable. Let’s see if Alessandro Ceronetti and Strawberry can secure a podium in the I-Games on the very challenging circuit in Portimao that Alessandro will be racing for the very first time ever.
