The Third and Last Round of the 2019 Winter Series at Shenington (UK) finally brought the deserved result that Alessandro Ceronetti and his Team BKC Racing have been fighting since January. Another podium and the Championship Crown against the 45 strongest UK Junior X30 drivers.
The weekend was raced in dry, windy and extremely cold weather conditions. However the pressure was really high and Alessandro knew that he has to finish in front of his Team Mate Sam Shaw to be crowned Champion. On Sunday Alessandro managed to start to turn around the situation scoring in both Heats a P1 and P8. That allowed him to grid in P2 for the Final.

“Random Grid this time for this Winter Series 2019 in Shenington. In the first Qualifying Heat I started in P9 and finished in P1. In the second one in P20 with a P8! The two combined results placed me to start in P2 in the Final beside my racing rival Reggie Duhy. The Final has just been an attempt to go away with the front  drivers knowing my strong team mate Sam Shaw was quickly charging from the middle of the grid. After half race Sam got unfortunately caught in a accident leaving me to finish my race in a very comfortable P3. This time with the Crown of the first Championship of the Season 2019. Awesome weekend in the end even if I feel sorry for my racing mate Sam Shaw who definitely did deserve a better outcome. I prevailed in difficult mental pressure conditions, and managed to take my first Winter Series of the season! I am also very glad for my Team Principal Rob Dodds who can finally see his two drivers in P1 and P2 of the Winter Series of an historical circuit. Many now-famous drivers have raced at the circuit since 1960: Nigel Mansell, David Coulthard, Jenson Button, Anthony Davidson, Guy Smith, Paul Di Resta and Johnny Herbert.
Finally a special thanks to my dad for the usual hard endless effort put on the spanners in such a difficult pressure condition where the demand was really high. At the end I think I had the best car balance and engine power to race on Sunday!”.

Next up is the Fourth and Last Round of the Winter Series 2019 at the International Class “A” circuit of PFI (UK) in two weeks time. Alessandro and his Team BKC will have the chance to win the second Championship Title of 2019 Season. Alessandro is still leading the Series with one round to go… lets see if he can bring it home! 1 down, 2 to go!

Stay tuned! 🤙🤙🤙
