The second race of the 2019 Season took a start at Shenington (UK) for Round 1 of the Winter Series. The result that we achieved in the final can be quite satisfactory with a podium in P3. Racing conditions were not particularly favourable to us after an awful crash experienced in the Second Heat right at the rolling start. Because of this, we could only guess the most appropriate set-up for dry conditions in the Final after running all Saturday and the First Heat in wet and freezing conditions.  The leg I use for the throttle was still in pain after the huge collision.

Random Grid this time for this Winter Series 2019. In the first Qualifying Heat I started in P11 and finished in P2. In the second one in P12 with a DNF! The two combined results placed me to start in P10 in the Final.

The Final has just been an attempt to charge from the back, up to the front. Top three crossed the finish line within a tenth of a seconds at the end!

Looking at the amount of work and effort put from my team, this has been a disappointing result, considering we had extremely competitive pace. Me and my team deserve more. Onwards and upwards! The future looks brighter and stronger for all of us!

Thanks to my BKC Racing Team Principal Rob Dodds, Team Manager Alex Ferris, and dad for the hard endless effort put on the spanners to rebuild the kart on time for the final. However a very special thanks is deserved to the Paramedics to put me in an acceptable shape to race the Final!

Next stop is going to be another pre-season race and it will be the Winter Series 2019 Round 2 at PFI (UK) on 02,03 of February 2019.

Stay tuned! 🤙🤙🤙
